Citizen Journalist

We’re looking for a group of local citizens journalists, both with experience and without. If you have an interest in sharing stories with your community, or a passion for a certain beat, then this may be the opportunity for you. Our Citizen Journalist Initiative seeks to empower citizens to tell local stories from their community to a wider audience, while countering the usual criticisms with rigorous journalistic standards. You will have access to resources and support and gain valuable real world experiences in the field. This is a volunteer opportunity to start.
